I blog so my kids can know me when I’m gone- pheeww!

I just read on Salon, ‘I blog so my kids can know me when I’m gone‘ by By Dorinda Fox

“After I got cancer, I realized I might not always be around for my children — but my writing will be”

Wow! I tinker with blogging I enjoy the reflections not really ever expecting anyone else to care.  Maybe it would give an opportunity to a colleague or friend to reply or follow me on a trip? Never really thought of it as a lifelong forever journal. The I received a reply from an anonymous reader who opened my eyes to self-publishing. Every extra reader who enjoys your post beyond your self is gravy! It is not insane.  It is no stranger than writing a diary except choosing to not store it under your pillow.
